Re: Tokyo Gore Police

Above is a flyer for Tokyo Gore Police that is somewhat different from the poster for it in my last message. (More importantly, however, the JPEG of the former is larger and has better image quality than that of the latter.)

For those who are unable to view QuickTime files, Quiet Earth has converted the aforelinked second promo reel for Tokyo Gore Police to Flash Video (FLV) format.

NMPMMG's Sayako Nakoshi

A much larger version (1061 x 1500) of the poster - as distinguished from the flyer - for Tokyo Gore Police has been added to the page for the movie on GOMORRAHY.com. According to the poster, the movie's principal cast is as follows: Eihi Shiina, Itsuji Itao, Yukihide Benny (Benii Yukihide), Jiji Bû (a.k.a. Jiji Boo), Keisuke Horibe, Tak Sakaguchi (Sakaguchi Taku), Ikuko Sawada, Marie Machida (Machida Marî), Maiko Asano, Moko Kinoshita, Ayano Yamamoto, Kai Izumi, Tsugumi Nagasawa (PDF file), Cherry Kirishima (Kirishima Cherî), Sayako Nakoshi (see above), Karin, Shôko Nakahara, Demo Tanaka, Tokitoshi Shiota, Sion Sono (Sono Shion), Takashi Shimizu, Mame Yamada, and Shun Sugata.

BTW, Tak Sakaguchi was the action director for Ken'ichi Fujiwara's High School Girl Rika: Zombie Hunter (Saikyô heiki joshikôsei: Rika - zonbi hantâ vs saikyô zonbi Gurorian) - the third movie in the Nihombie (Nihonbi) series.

Thirty (30) more large production stills - a set of ten 1200 x 1599 ones and a set of twenty 1599 x 1200 ones - from Tokyo Gore Police have been added to the page for the movie on GOMORRAHY.com. The stills feature Sayako Nakoshi, Tsugumi Nagasawa (PDF file), Eihi Shiina, Kai Izumi, Moko Kinoshita, et al.. See the crocodile woman (wani-onna) baring her... teeth!

BTW, Nagasawa - who is primarily an AV (adult video) actress - is also in the aforementioned High School Girl Rika: Zombie Hunter.

Re: Tokyo Gore Police

A few production stills from the fake commercials in Tokyo Gore Police have been added to the page for the movie on GOMORRAHY.com; the fake commercials were directed by Noboru Iguchi and Yûdai Yamaguchi.

Nishimura and his company NMPMMG have been responsible for the special make-up effects in a number of movies directed by Iguchi and Yamaguchi, including Iguchi's The Machine Girl (Kataude mashin gâru) and Yamaguchi's Tamami: The Baby's Curse (Akanbo shôjo).

BTW, if you haven't already done so, you may wish to check out the page on GOMORRAHY.com for Nishimura's Speakerman: The Boo (Supîkâman: The Boo) - a movie that Iguchi co-starred in.

Re: Tokyo Gore Police

Man, it just warms my hear to see shit like this still being made.
And I don't mean the gore per se, I mean the absolute lunacy and seeimngly balls to the wall attitude to go where even bizarros fear to tread. (feel free to quote me for ad mats)

I hope it's half as good as I imiagine. And good is reeally the wrong term here. It seems like it oughts transcend any sense of taste and go straight for a more visceral reaction. Reminds of all those great HK flix that were total mind blowers.*

Love that poster, too.

* I worked in film distribution for a spell and devleoped this ability to really hype a film, sometimes with very little to go on, so if I am all wrong here I was professionally trained and it's not my fault.

I was just thinking the same. I think the worst thing that can happen is it's not fun, I'm not expecting deep just audacious goofy fun.
