 A page for Yoshihiro Nishimura's Tokyo Gore Police (Tôkyô zankoku keisatsu) was recently added to GOMORRAHY.com, and on that page is a stills gallery for the movie. Like Noboru Iguchi's The Machine Girl (Kataude mashin gâru), Tokyo Gore Police is being produced by Fever Dreams LLC (U.S.A.) in association with Nikkatsu Corporation (Japan). The screenplay for Tokyo Gore Police was written by Nishimura and Kengo Kaji. The movie stars Eihi Shiina and Itsuji Itao. Tak Sakaguchi was the fight choreographer for it. Here's a synopsis for Tokyo Gore Police from the Fangoria article "First report and pics: TOKYO GORE POLICE" (January 24th): "Ruka [is] a police officer in a special squad formed to eradicate human mutations that have recently sprung into existence, the result of a virus created by a mad scientist simply known as Key Man. Killing these unwieldy mutants is no easy task, and Ruka, naturally enough, carries a samurai sword with her at all times. Despite being on opposite sides of the fence, Ruka and Key Man share a common bond: the murder of their fathers years earlier at the hands of the police, and both she and Key Man seek revenge for their dads' untimely demise." Nishimura's previous directing credits include Speakerman: The Boo (Supîkâman: The Boo) - a.k.a. "SpeakerHead from Coal Mine" - and Anatomia Extinction (Genkai jinkô keisû). Primarily a special make-up effects artist, he is the founder of Nishimura Motion Picture Model Makers Group (Y.K. Nishimura Eizô) - "NMPMMG" for short.  A set of clips from Tokyo Gore Police is scheduled to be screened at the Yubari International Fantastic Film Festival (Yûbari Kokusai Fantasutikku Eigasai) - "YIFFF" for short - in Hokkaido, Japan on March 22nd. Here's an "introduction" to Tokyo Gore Police from the YIFFF website: "This movie, based on his independent film 'Anatomia Extinction' (presented in the Off-Theater Competition category in 1995), is one that Yoshihiro Nishimura has long been wanting to make.
